Mr. Carl Choi, founder and CEO of the Los Angeles based Great Company, a design and event production firm, has been following the COVID situation closely: his wife works in an emergency department, and he has been well aware of the strain hospitals have been facing in preparation for the predicted wave of sick patients. Instead of sitting idly, he alongside his partners in the Fight the Good Fight! project began seeking masks for healthcare workers, spurred on by his own concerns for his wife’s health and protection on the front line.
When we at DonatePPE.org reached out to him, he was already packaging surgical masks and sending them to connections in the community, going out of his way to place much needed masks in emergency departments across greater Los Angeles.
His gift to DonatePPE has been swiftly put to use, helping keep doctors and nurses safe at several LA emergency departments, COVID isolation units, and even Labor and Delivery wards. THANK YOU CARL!
